My home is terrifying because of Halloween…

What am I going to be? 

I have no idea…but I’m working on it…

  
I used to be terrified this time of year.Now I love it. My dog,Simon? He doesn’t know what to think. I’m pretty sure his memory resets every five minutes anyway. Every five minutes is a brand new day…it’s hilarious. 

But back to Halloween. 

I usually write short terrors this month or any month really. And it’s great. You can expect the same this year as well.

Anna
Says she’s infested
From the inside
Like a virus
A tape worm
Scratching
At her skin
Screaming about voices
In the walls

Saturday
I think my Anna
Needs help
The Dr says she’s fine
But
She’s been acting strange
Staring …
Into blankness
Today
While chopping vegetables
She was chopping into her fingers
Only to apologize numbly
Later I walked in on her
Clawing at the walls
Mumbling about scratching
And voices
I couldn’t get her to calm down

Sunday
We slept together
It was like an acid trip
Her eyes were dead pools
Her fingernails clawing into my skin
She wasn’t there
I woke up
I woke up
I heard singing in the kitchen
I heard movement
I heard dishes
I walked in…
To her hanging from the ceiling

Monday
Ronnie
Woke up
Hearing Anna call him
I stopped him just outside my bedroom
“She’s calling me,mothers calling me”
I didn’t tell him I could hear her too

Tuesday
I can’t sleep
I hear footsteps
I see my Anna standing in the Corner
She doesn’t say anything

She’s hanging from the ceiling
She’s walking in the halls
I’m going behind her
Closing all the doors
There’s someone in the walls
I hear her calling out to Ronnie
I can’t stop him anymore
There’s a little girl
By the stairs
Playing with a kitten
Ronnie loves
Kittens …
She has dead pool eyes ….
I can’t help him …
I can’t help me…

I heard her calling him
I was going to get up
But Anna is standing by my bed …

A Halloween tale just for you 1

Day 15

A virus of some-kind, chemical – I don’t know..it’s taken everything. lunacy..like Alzheimer’s  ..we tried to fight it. But it had the military first.it had the highly intelligent  first.  The body breaks down due to chemical exposure quickly , especially if it is unhealthy.

but the military  ..no one can outrun ..out think..it’s like a mental switch tripped and every one has received an order to kill everything and anything.

they kill each other even as they kill us.. good god. what have we done.

day 44

trying to document something – anything – to leave a trail . hoping to find clarity. I don’t know.

..The virus came….we’ve locked ourselves up inside the city.we have food , we have water, we have a means to survive . But we didn’t count on the animal instinct of a human…. there was no plan for this.they come and they go…some die within a few days overcome by the virus itself. But later more infected will resurface. Our only real enemy is man himself. those trying to survive out there. we were not prepared for this.

I’m alone now..the others ..couldn’t stay..chose to leave…..there are worse things than death. worse than  disease..it’s being lonely. locked inside this room. with  a means of survival ..but for what cause?.there’s a whole world out there..a whole damned empty world..but the chemical or virus..it’s out now..it will return somewhere ..and we have no cure.
